The Regional Hub is made up of our group functions of Supply Chain, HR, Finance, Corporate Affairs, Procurement & Sustainability, Digital, Technology and Business Services, Strategy & Legal. The Regional Hub defines group level strategy and targets and provides support and guidance to the three business divisions.
Asahi Lifestyle Beverages (formerly called Schweppes Australia) is our Commercial (Sales and Marketing) function for our non-alcohol business in Australia.
ALB markets and sells an extensive range of non-alcohol beverages including soft drinks, mixers, mineral water, water, juice, iced tea and sports drinks, with iconic and well-loved brands such as Schweppes, Cool Ridge, Cottees, Lipton Ice Tea and Pepsi.
Asahi Beverages New Zealand (ABNZ) comprises the former Independent Liquor business (purchased by Asahi Breweries, along with Charlie’s, in 2011) and The Better Drinks Co. ABNZ markets non-alcohol and alcohol beverages in New Zealand but also produces Charlie’s juices in Renwick, Australia and sells other leading products overseas including Twisted Shotz and Woodstock. ABNZ also distributed a range of Treasury Wine Estates wines in NZ.
ABNZ is a market leader in ready-to-drink beverages, and a strong performer in the spirit, beer, wine and cider categories in New Zealand.
Carlton & United Breweries was acquired in June 2020 by Asahi Group Holdings as our Commercial (Sales and Marketing) function for our alcohol business in Australia. CUB has three key divisions: CUB Beer, CUB Premium Beverages, the home of all our non-beer alcohol brands, and Fire & Earth Ventures. Our Fire & Earth Ventures function is home to our great team of leading craft partners such as 4 Pines, Mountain Goat, Pirate Life and Balter.
